Hersonissos is associated with pleasant and broad tourism, gorgeous and crowded beaches, near to a contemporary city, Heraklion, with hundreds of tourist stores selling apparel and jewelry, restaurants providing a range of cuisines, cafés, pubs, and clubs suited to all tastes. The city's coastal road begins at the harbor and leads down to the Hersonissos beach. Thousands of guests come here to celebrate till the early hours of the morning.
