Luxury Fiberglass

Even though most people cannot tell the difference between the types of yachts that exist, still there are many factors that differentiate one from the other. There are many different kinds of yachts. In general, a yacht is mainly categorized as a sailing yacht, motor yacht, or gulet yacht, and then as a sports or luxury yacht. A sailing yacht is by and large propelled by wind and sails and not by mechanical means, unless needed. A motor yacht is propelled by one or more motors while a gulet yacht is a hybrid that is propelled by both sails and motors. Another category is the open yacht, cruiser, cabin cruiser and express cruiser or differently stated the standard yacht for cruising and entertaining.

The lux yacht is one that includes high-end finishes and features and is distinctive of the state-of-the-art performance technology. The sports yacht is a yacht that is mainly used for purposes of fishing, water sports, or cruising. It has a sleeker design and a more powerful motor that can reach much higher cruising speeds. The term ‘sports’ can precede other types of yachts as well, i.e. “sports motor yacht”.Finally, the catamaran yacht is the type that has two hulls (pontoons) often made of fiberglass. Contrary to the other types, this one is suitable for use in rather shallow waters. The word luxury, as an adjective, can be added to any type of yacht, i.e. “luxury motor yacht”, “luxury sailing yacht”, etc.
