It Is Always A Pleasure To Stay In Chania

Chania is turned into Crete's most exciting destination every summer. The city center, just a few meters from the old Venetian harbor, is full with sights and stores for food, coffee, drink, meze and local raki! At dark, the alleys are bustling with people out for a stroll against the backdrop of stunning architecture. Chania is also an excellent starting place for daily trips to the Prefecture of Chania's inland and southern shores, which are rich in natural beauty and exquisite beaches.

Balos is one of Crete's most beautiful, most photographed, and famous beaches. The azure shallow waters, white beach, and natural beauty evoke exotic locations. The only way to get there is via boat from Kissamos or by dirt road followed by a somewhat steep trail that requires caution (about 20 minutes walk).

Falasarna is one of Crete's and Greece's most popular beaches, offering spectacular sunset views. It's a huge beach with pale sand and blue waters, creating a unique atmosphere. It has beach volleyball courts, umbrellas, canteens, and water sports facilities. It is great for windsurfing because it is exposed to westerly winds.

Chania is regarded as one of Greece's most attractive cities, with a long and illustrious history. The Venetian landmarks and the city's charming alleyways will undoubtedly captivate you. The majority of the sites are concentrated around the old harbor, with the city's symbol being the iconic Egyptian lighthouse.
